SLOW PLAY POLICY
SLOW PLAY POLICY -- It is the position of both the SMGA and SBWGA -18 & 9 that, on league days and in league sponsored events, the pace of play is to be maintained in accordance with the Pace of Play standards established for the SaddleBrooke Golf Courses during open play.
LEAGUE DAY POLICY-- A group that is out of position in relationship to the group in front of them and are five minutes or more behind on the clock will be issued a warning of slow play by the ranger. Failure to take corrective action will result in issuing a penalty on the next occurrence.
A group that is more than one hole behind the group in front of them and more than 10minutes behind on the clock will be issued an immediate penalty.
First offense -- One stroke Second offense -- Two strokes For subsequent offense -- Disqualification Penalties to be issued are in accordance with USGA Rule 6-7 of The Rules of Golf. Habitual offenders will be referred to the appropriate golf association Board of Directors to review playing status. |
