| Pop Charts are used to calculate your handicap strokes for a given hole.
There
may be times when the condition of the course or weather may
cause some holes on the golf course to be closed. When a hole
is closed or when the weather is bad and forces you to quit
before you have finished all 9 or 18 holes, but you have played
enough holes to post; it will be necessary for you to take your
pops (plus par for the hole) on those holes you could not finish
to calculate your score for posting. To help you
figure out how many pops you can take on any given hole, there
is a "Pop Chart". There is a sheet for each course. Find your
course handicap on
the left of each sheet and follow the line across to the hole or
holes you were unable to complete. Add the POPs to the hole par,
this is your score for the hole. |
