Why isn't my tee time in the automated tee time system when I know I have signed up for Tuesday play?

If you know you have signed up for a golf on Tuesday and when you check the tee time system and it doesn't have a tee time for you; don't be alarmed, but please check the niners' outside bulletin board or web page to obtain your tee time. The reason the tee time system says you don't have a tee time is because your tee time is after 9:52 a.m. (the last time the system recognizes as a morning tee time before the cross over from one nine to the other nine)
The pairings sheet is posted on the Niners' outside bulletin board no later than Friday a.m.

How do I submit check or bill to the Niners' Treasure?

All checks or bills should be deposited in the Niners' drawer in the Pro Shop. It is located to the left of the computer at the end of the counter. It is drawer "3" and is labeled as Lady 9ers'. There is a slot at the top of the drawer where you will slide checks in. If you have questions, the Pro Shop Staff will be happy to assist you.

How are the payout amounts for weekly winners determined?

The following is a breakdown of how the Tournament Committee pays the winners of each week:

Weekly, $25.00 is distributed to the 4 winners within each flight, (see examples below).

If less than 15 Niners play on any given Tuesday, no prize money will be awarded.

15 to 19 players - 1 flight – maximum of $25.00 will be distributed by: first place ($10.00) – second place  ($7.00) – third place  ($5.00) – fourth place ($3.00)

20 to 30 players – 2 flights – maximum of $25.00 per flight will be distributed by:   first place  ($10.00) – second place ($7.00) – third place ($5.00) – fourth place ($3.00)

31 to 54 players – 3 flights – maximum of $25.00 per flight will be distributed by:   first place ($10.00) – second place ($7.00) – third place ($5.00) – fourth place ($3.00)

55 to 79 players – 4 flights – maximum of $25.00 per flight will be distributed by:   first place ($10.00) – second place ($7.00) – third place ($5.00) – fourth place ($3.00)

Any field over 80 players – 5 flights – maximum of $25.00 per flight will be distributed by:  first place ($10.00) – second place ($7.00) – third place ($5.00) – fourth place ($3.00)

Note:  Winnings will be posted each Friday, after the handicap committee verifies players that were disqualified

When I go to post my score the computer screen is yellow, what should I do?
If the machine is yellow, do not trust that it will post for you at a later time.

Do one of the following three things:

1.  You can put your score in the RED BOOK used to log posting problems

2.  Post later

3.  Post on line

What is the proper placement for the bunker rakes?
The Greens committee has requested that rakes for the bunkers be place on the grass adjacent to the bunker and parallel to the fairway.

What if I disagree with the score taken by another player?

If there is a question concerning the number of strokes taken by another golfer in a foursome, attempt to resolve the discrepancy before moving on to the next hole. If not resolved, the card should not be signed and a protest form should be filled out by the others in the foursome and turned in to the Handicap or Tournament Chair. (The protest forms are located in the green scorecard box on the Niners' shelf in the posting room.)

(Please note that in this instance, you will not be disqualified for not signing your card.)

How do I score a hole not played?

With the arrival of our rainy season there may be times when the condition of the course or weather may cause some holes on the golf course to be closed.  When a hole is closed or when the weather is bad and forces you to quit before you have finished all 9 or 18 holes, but you have played enough holes to post; it will be necessary for you to take your pops (plus par for the hole) on those holes you could not finish.  To help you figure out how many pops you can take on any given hole, there is a  "Pop Chart" posted on the Niners' bulletin board next to the handicap chart (to the right of the outside entrance door).  There is a sheet for each course. Find your handicap on the left of each sheet and follow the line across to the hole or holes you were unable to complete.

Remember this chart is for all the Niners to use, so please do not remove the chart from the posting room.

To print your own copy of the "Pop Chart" click on the appropriate course:

Is there a drop zone on hole #2?

There has been some confusion on how to play hole #2. On league days (and any other Niner's event), the Niners have the option to use the drop zone. The drop zone on hole #2 is located at the green tees. You would be hitting your third shot. (Your tee shot is 1 and the penalty for going in the water is 2.)
