LATE SIGN-UP POLICY

Deadline is 11:58 pm on the Tuesday preceding game day. No Late Sign-ups.

This policy will go into effect for the play day of Tuesday, February 1, 2008.

To play in a SBWGA 9er's event you must sign up no later than 11:58 P.M. the Tuesday prior to the Tuesday league/event day. (1 week in advance) Late sign up is not allowed. Do not call the pairings chair or pro shop in hopes of being added after the cutoff.

Sign-ups can be made many weeks in advance via the tee-time or computer system. It is not acceptable for any Niner to request that the Pairings Chair sign them up simply because they are out of town or it is not convenient for them to sign-up on their own.

The Board recognizes that this policy may impact play for some Niners, however, we all must be responsible for our individual golf play day. Each Board and Committee member is a volunteer position with a mission to “…foster participation in Niners’ regular play and special events.” However, it is not reasonable for a Niner to expect our volunteers to take on one’s individual responsibility. Please understand that this decision did not come lightly, but with lengthy Board discussion and consideration. Remember, you can sign up four weeks in advance via the tee-time or computer system. It is best to sign up early and cancel if necessary.
